This is my Grandfather. He is my Mom's dad. I never met him because he passed away when she was 13 yrs old. Mom said he was a great dad,,took time with her and her 2 sisters. He was a fireman,,and tried to help the less fornate that lived around his firehall. She said when he died, they placed his casket in the Firehall and all the people he had helped came to pay their respects.
His death was caused by Sulfer medication that he was on for strep throat,,he was allergic to it. I am also allergic to sulfer.
They use to dress up in those days for photos,,I wonder if he had always wanted to be a cowboy?
