I just learned that my dear friend Lisa lost her mother this past friday. I am so sorry that she had to go through this sad time right here at Christmas. I just know that she will have the best Angel she could possibly have to watch over her and she will see her again one day.
This is the second time that a dear friend has lost their mother in the past 2 months, the other being Sweet Annie. I get so choked up and so emotional because I know that I will have to take that journey with my bestfriend, my precious Mother. Sometimes I just don't know if I will be able to live without her, but I know that I will have too. I think losing your mother will be just as hard as losing a child, and I dread that day again.
I am wishing much PEACE to Lisa,,and very much LOVE!!!

I know Beth, this is such a difficult time for those who have lost their mothers. I can't even imagine. Sniffle sniffle.

Beth: This is such a good post. Christmas is a time of celebration, love, and joy with our extended families, . . . for most of us. For some it contains a difficult memory of life and death. But even for those there is the memory of love and joy for the one who was lost. Your pain, Lisas and Annies all contain cherished happy memories and I do believe that is the direction to look. Yes, we acknowledge the loss of our mothers, and worse yet, of our child, but the cherished memories are the most valuable part. Through those memories they are still with us.

Love you Beth. Hope my wording is OK. A delicate subject here.

My Dear Daughter,
This old Mom plans on being around for a long time yet. You cant get rid of an old woman yet LOL. Although it is 3;30 A.M. in the morning. I couldnt sleep as my darn old leg and hip was hurting and I decided to just get up and start the coffee and get on this thing. Love all of your blogs. Oh so you skipped school Tuesday and you didnt let your mom know. Shame on you. I may write in my blog as I havent done that in awhile. I just cant seem to write in it any more. You have such good blogs and so amusing and interesting ones. Hope you have a good day today. Love U, Mom

I missed your blog when I was on vacation! It was wonderful seeing all the beautiful things that have arrived -- make me feel overwhelmed for what I already have on the list to accomplish before the holiday! (But then, vacation WAS wonderful!) Also loved "Cat's Dog!" I used to have a Jack Russell, and spent part of my vacation with three of them, so it was special to see her cards!

Three cheers to talented friends! And thanks for sharing their stuff with us!
