Sunday Special

I just spent 30 minutes making a nice long post. Went to publish and it went bye bye. So this is going to be short and brief. I had a nice spring break. Dreading going back to work tomorrow, I was spoiled in being off but life goes on.
My son did have compications with his tonsilectomy. Ended up having to go back to surgery on friday night, I spent the night with him and was up most of the night at the hospital with him. He got to go home Sat. morning and is doing much better, Thank God. It was pretty scary for awhile. I took several naps yesterday and then played in my yard. Its been really hot here for the end of March and we had to turn our air on today as it broke a record of 88 degrees. I will post more tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great week-end! And have a great week ahead!

I had that very thing happen once Beth, so now always before I click publish, I highlight the whole post and click Control C just in case. If it disappears, Control V brings the whole thing right back. Magic. Don't leave home without it.

Sorry to say it, but enjoy going back to work. I'm going to try it myself tomorrow. Not sure if I'm ready, but you can bet I'll be true to myself.

I'm sorry your son had complications and so glad he's home and doing better. Do you ever find that the times you are on a break go by WAY faster than when you are working? I used to find that when I was working. Try to have a good week Beth - in between work try to rest, create and play!
XOXO

Good going with the winnings, your mum did so well, I bet you had a great time together, buying lots of crafty items together with some of the winnings, what fun. Hope your son is feeling better, so sad you have to go back to work, wow pity you both didn't win enough so you could become a lady of leisure!

You've had it bumpy, between the frustration of the blog post and then the tonsillectomy complications. Thinking of you and hoping everything just perks up in a new week and new spring.

Sorry your son had complications but I'm glad he's home now.
Sounds as if you had summer arrive early! And just keep thinking about summer vacation....it's just a few months away and then you can blog and play more.

I had the same thing happen yesterday, Beth! Must be the blogger gremlin acting out again!

So glad your son is doing better. It is so scary with children. At Bible study today we were talking about letting, even encouraging our little ones to grow as is appropriate. That is such a hard time in life, each time you are asked to give up a little bit of mothering and protection, but oh, how great it is when they come out at forty having gone through their own firey furnace and are an adult you are proud to know and call, "Friend!" Worth it all.

What a pest that blogger ate your post! Very annoying for you. I like Maryellen's suggestion about copying your words to save them.

I am sorry to hear that your son had complications Beth. Very scary for you.

Hope work is not busy this week.

Glad to hear your son is doing better, Beth. Ditto on MaryEllen's suggestion. Also, I am constantly saving as I go along so if something happens I don't loss all of the post. All it takes is one time. Tough cure but saving and control c are good habits.

OMG, Beth! I didn't know he had to go in for surgery. I hope it's all healed now. Geesh. I remember when he had what Bob had. I bet Bob will have to get his tonsils out next.
