Flower Fun and a busy week-end.

This is a cute little flower that I made last week. I ordered Sandra Evertson's Book-Fanciful
Paper Flowers a few weeks ago and it has some wonderful paper flowers in it. Her directions are so clear and she also gives you pages and pages of some wonderful free images to use in your projects. This is the second book of hers that I ordered. The other one is Fanciful Paper Projects. Both books are awesome for Paper craft lovers!

So I did not do any art this week-end. Instead we were working on our old house this week-end. We are trying to get it ready to go on the market in May. Lots of painting and other extra's to work on in order to get it sold. I am so tired and sore today. Yesterday I was out in the yard there working and I also dug up some of my hostas to bring up to my new house. I have alot of hostas and different varietys, they are one of my favorite flowers, espiecally for shady areas.

Clay Kitty and then a real Kitty!

Today I am back at work and resting my sore body from all the work that I did this week-end. It was a beautiful day here yesterday after such a rainy week. I hope every one had a wonderful week-end and have a wonderful week ahead!

Thanks Beth. It was a great day. Nice looking Hostas. Someone planted some at my house at one point, but they never look like that. They must get too much sun where they are. Kitty kind of blends in to that nice dark top soil! :)

Golly, I feel for your aching back. That's hard work. It'll pay off, but still tough, especially when you want to do something else!

Great Kitty Pic!

Loved the flower from Sandra's book. I really enjoy her work, and this is lovely!

Dearest Beth,

I'm finally catching up on all your news...my computer time has been limited lately and it's been going very slow trying to visit everyone! I just read about your mom taking a turn for the worse and your step-dad not doing well at all either...it's no wonder you've been so stressed. Please know that you're all in my prayers and I do hope that soon everyone will feel much better again!!

Sounds like you've been very busy doing work around the house...we still have some snow and there's still frost in the ground so I won't be able to do any gardening and such until at least the end of May. I just love your Hostas...I had 2 growing in my faerie garden and I'm hoping that they survived the winter.

Your kitty is so gorgeous...how wonderful that you were able to rescue her and give her a good home. Sad to think how some people can just abandon them like that!! I've been feeding a stray cat for the last few months and I'm hoping that by this summer he'll let me get near:-)

Take good care of YOU!! xoxo

I'm trying to catch up on things since I've been away from the blogs for almost two weeks now! I'm finally feeling better, and my hand has healed so I popped over to see what you've been up to. Love hostas! And your flower is pretty, too. Sandra's books are always full of good stuff. I may have to get that one.

I know your life is very full, but I have challenged you to do a very constructive MeMe. You can pick it up on my blog. It is the best MeMe I've ever seen. Have fun with it.
