Last night I played with my Adobe Photoshop. It sure is fun to play with. This is the collage that I made with it last night. I do think I am going to really enjoy playing with this neat program.
Yesterday I went up to Moms and backed up some of her pictures with a flash drive that she bought. I also printed some pictures out on her Laser printer. My printer is still messed up, I have tried every thing I know to do. Daniel keeps talking about getting a new one, but our funds are a little low right here after Christmas. I would love to have a Laser printer as they really produce excellent pictures, but I just can't see us paying $300 right now. Maybe when the good old income tax check comes in. We have a older printer that I could use until then, so that might be the answer. I am going to work on the printer again today, but I am terribly afraid that the printer head has croaked.

I did really well yesterday on my "eating healthy" and also walked 1 mile on the treadmill and did some weights. It sure helps give me energy, and to feel better. My goal is to be 20 lbs lighter by March. I think it is good to have a goal to strive for. I am tall and that helps to not look so obese,,but if I was 5 inches shorter,,I would definetly look obese. I am at that point in my life that its not really about how I look,,but that I want to be healthier. My other very bad habit is that I smoke and have for too many years. I am not a heavy smoker,,a pack will last for days. I am going to get my weight down first, then work on the smoking. I just can't do both or I would be a lunatic, lol. But smoking is such a nasty habit and I will not smoke around people who don't smoke. I didn't smoke while I was pregnant either. But both of my children smoke too. Their Dad is a very heavy smoker and so is Daniel. I really worry about Daniel and wish he would at least try to quit, but that has to be his decision.
So enough about that nasty subject. Today its very cloudy and suppose to rain. My throat is feeling a little scratchy(maybe because of sitting in the rain during sundays football game). I have some medicine that you take when you feel like your getting a cold, so I will take that and hope it goes away.
I am going to work on some swaps that will be due by the end of the month. My picture above was my art for the day yesterday. I will probably play with my photoshop some more today as it is so addicting.
I hope everyone has a truly wonderful Thursday!

I love the look and feel of your new blog. Of course I do. Cats, cats and more catty cats. Love it. Hey, you want to do another swap?

Hi, Beth --

Love the new cat wallpaper -- I'm like Mary Ellen, I think! Addicted to anything feline! But it really looks terrific!

Hang in there with the exercise and all. I'm doing the same thing for the same reasons -- I'm tired of not being healthy (and I wouldn't mind looking a little better too!)

I like the new look to your blog. I have to laugh because I have yards of that cat fabric!

I have to go along with everyone and say I love the cats, too.
I also just want to be healthier so that's why I'm starting my new health plan. Thankfully I've never smoked so that isn't an issue for me. But I do tend to eat when I'm stressed, or bored, or happy, or sad, or....you get the picture!! I've really been strict with myself and it's paying off!

my hubby is a smoker...had been for years...the only cig I ever had made me sick as a dog...thank you Lord!! I know how hard that is to kick, but people have done it and so can you if you want to!!
The docs want him to stop but I just don't see it happening...
:-D

Ah, the new years resolutions. I say i don't make them but I do... eat healthier & treadmill. I only smoked for 2 years during my divorce 12 years ago - I was raised in a smokers home, married to a smoker, and when I left I craved cigs and started, then Dad died early of cancer and I kicked myself in the butt for even starting... Quit and now live in a smoke free environment. But... I should be on the treadmill RIGHT NOW instead of on the computer! And it's only day 4...DO IT DO IT DO IT DON'T STOP...
Okay... gotta run girl. Hugs, Cat
And here's to all of us keeping those healthy resolutions!~ ***

What a fun thing, playing with PhotoShop. I only have the free one you can download and my HP stuff that came with the printer.

I was a 3 pack a day smoker until I was 29. Then I quit and have never smoked again. My DH just stopped a few years ago. Like you he didn't smoke a lot, but it still does it damage. He can't believe how much better he feels!

I went to the doc today and he gave me some stuff for the asthma symptoms and I'm starting to do better, also coughing up loads of phlegm, but we know that goes with it. I love kittys too. Who doesn't. Have you checked out the Daily Kitten on line? Fun place.

Photoshop? You're going to have to teach me a thing or two now. I have never done anything like that.
