Summer time's creatures and other stuff!

How about this little creature? He was visiting us yesterday when I came outside he was on a stepping stone leading out to the back yard.

And this pretty moth was right up above from him on the brick wall. He stayed around most of the morning but the little green guy went his merry little way.

I hope every one is having a great Sunday and a wonderful Memorial Day week-end!

You're giving me the heeby jeebies girl! I don't like critters. That worm doesn't even look real. I thought it was a cloth one at first! Are those the nasty ones that eat the naters? xoxoxo

I've had the computer off and on as we are having thunder rumbling and DH is watching the I 500 while taking a nap. What a life, huh!

Ok, Bethie, that worm is scary! Seeing the moth reminds of what Emily used to call them when she was little. She came in one night from the porch and said, "Mommy, there's a mop on the porch!" It took me a minute to get what she meant. Now we tend to call them "mops" instead of moths.

BTW, thanks for your compliments of Maggie and your congratulations on the book. I should be getting mine this week and if I have time I'll post about it.

Kerry is going to take the camper somewhere for me, even if he doesn't get to stay the whole time due to work, just so I can get away for a few days. Maybe Point Mallard, if they are not full.

Hope you are having a great holiday weekend. I'm working, but it's not been too bad.

Is that an inchworm? How cool is that! And in Jeanie-green, too!
