Easter Sunday and the week before.

I hope every one had a wonderful Easter week-end. I really enjoyed it. It was a rough day on Good friday. We had some more tornadoes that touched down all around us. Not in our town but in some neighboring towns. It really caused alot of devastation in Murfreesboro which is a few counties east of us. A F-4 tornadoe hit several subdivisons. A 30 year old mother and her 9 week old baby daughter were killed and the father was critically injured. So very sad. Here is link to a video of one of it that someone made. We have been very lucky so far this year as it has been a stormy spring for us.
Last thursday morning on my way into work I saw a hot air balloon floating over downtown Nashville. I had to take some pictures of it as it was so serene as it was floating along.

I have been so busy trying to get my garden planted that I haven't had a chance to post or even visit any ones blogs. So tonight I am playing catch up! I hope every one has a wonderful spring week!

I know, that is soooo sad. We have been fortunate. Every time I hear Dickson, I cringe. Thank you Bethy for all your sweet notes. I hope to get back to you soon. And I got my darling Easter card today. Awww, you're just the bestest. Big ol' hugs my friend. xoxox

It has definitely been rough as far as the weather and actually here at work this weekend, too. In the middle of my work week and it has not been a good one at all, but compared to this poor family I have a lot to be thankful for. We didn't have any damage where we live but there is scattered damage around our area.

Hope you had a good Easter.

Happy belated Easter, dear Beth:-) I'm so glad to hear that you weren't personally affected by the tornadoes but I did hear about the mother and baby getting killed and my heart goes out to the family. We had nothing but sunshine throughout the Easter weekend and it felt so good considering we were forgetting what the sun looked like! lol The snow is also finally melting away which puts a smile on my face:-) xoxoxo

So very glad that you and your family were safe. I saw a lot of info on the news -- pretty scary. Happy belated Easter, my friend!

Beth, The weather has been odd this spring...The news from Murfreesboro was tragic and so sad for the families. Today it is cold and cloudy and not inviting to go outside....

My sister lives in Kansas, it is always scary. I am glad that you were not in the way of one of these horrible storms. We are having warm and then very cold days...it is confused.
Our Easter was with family...it was nice.
Happy Everday, Mary
