It's been a week since I posted, and I thought that being retired I would have plenty of spare time that I could post every day,, wrong. Seems like every day last week I was busy. I have been working on some jewelry and some art. I need to scan some of my art and take pics of jewelry,,hopefully one day this coming week. I joined a photography class and have been practicing taking some pics. It's on Thursday nights, but this past Thursday night I went to my favorite NFL teams pre-season game. I actually have tickets to all the home games this year. I bought them from a friend who was going to through a rough time and couldn't' afford them. So my daughter and I went to see them play the Super Bowl Champs, the New Orleans Saints. And I am proud to say that the Tennessee Titans beat them.

We walked to the game on a really cool old bridge that was made into a walking bridge. It's lit up at night time too.
Also the General Jackson Riverboat was floating in the river too! |
It's so awesome to look across the river from the stadium at night and see the Nashville skyline all lit up!
We had a great time that night! I have a busy week ahead of me too, but will try to post more as soon as I can. I hope all is well with all of my dear friends. Please have a great Labor Day tomorrow too!

I'm glad your team won. I always think of you when the Titans play.
Life sure does have a way of putting obstacles in our road to art. My weekend was completely taken up with other things. I had thought I would have plenty of time for art but that didn't happen. I have one ATC made but the other one is not. Hopefully by Christmas you'll have them!! Just kidding.
Everybody I've talked to that has retired has told me that they are busier AFTER they retire! lol I can't wait to see pictures of the jewelery you've been working on.

I was gone shopping and out for lunch with my friend June today...tomorrow I'm bringing mom out for lunch and shopping. Good thing I love going out for lunch and shopping!!!!! lol It's no wonder, though, that I'm so behind visiting blogs all the time, I never stay home long enough! hehe Love ya! xoxo

I have "obligations" I want to fulfill (returning art) and just haven't been able to get to it!
