This was my thermometer on my deck this morning. And this was 8 a.m. with the sun hitting it. I think it actually got even colder than this. Brrrrrrr.
Yesterday was really cold too so I stayed inside and in my Art Room most of the day. I made several more ATCs and some pendants for necklaces. I really enjoy my new Art Room, its a lot more roomier and more efficient.
I feel a little bit better today. Still achy and chest congestion but not sick enough to lay in bed thank goodness. I would hate to waste my long week-end sick in bed.
This morning we had a sweet little family deer family in the woods behind our house. One of the deer was laying down the whole time and I think she might have been pregnant. I got my camera out and took some great zoom shots from the comfort of my warm house.
Aren't they so cute?
Well I better get busy and do a few more artsy things. I hope every one is having a wonderful week-end. Stay warm!!!

Brrrr doggy! COld here too! I HATE wearing coats! grrrrrrr. Love those deer. I saw some in our front yard two nights ago too. They are precious. Can't wait to see you and Lottie tomorrow!!!! Bundle up! xoxo
That is just plain to cold. Love the lil bambi pics. Good thing they wear HOOFS, or their feet would freeze to the ground. Maybe that's it, she's not PG, she is frozen in place. LOL
Yikes!! That's cold! We were down in the 20's last night and the wind is blowing about 90 MPH (!!) so the wind chill is terrible. I've been in my studio all day 'cause it's the warmest room in the house.
The photos of the deer are great. Aren't they beautiful animals? How can people shoot them?!
You've been a busy woman this weekend! How fun to work in your brand new art room!
I love the dear deer -- can't believe you are able to look out your window and see them! Wouldn't it be fun to see a fawn soon?
Have fun with Rosemary and your mom today!
Beth, We are to be 8 before morning. And with wind chill, Oh my Gosh! Stay warm, love the pictures. Mary
Yes, Beth,
They are really cute and charming. I was shocked to learn more people are killed by deer than by bears and cougars combined. Isn't that amazing. Good that you remained warm. Good thinking.
We have been frozen for so long! And we got that cold, nay colder a couple of times this week alone. Br-r-r-r-r-r-r!
