R & R week-end.

After a very long and intense week, I did very little this week-end. After spending the night of the tornadoes in the Emergency room with my mother, I just need to rest and relax this week-end. Mother's back pain became worse on Monday night and I took her to the emergency room when I got home from work on tuesday. We stayed in the emergency room until 11 p.m. , when they finally got her a room. The hospitals are full with flu and now with victims from our horrible storms.
Mom got to go home on Thursday with stronger pain meds and predisone to help with the pain. She is still scheduled for surgery on the 18th.
Thank you to all that has wrote me to express concern for our safety during the terrible storms. We were difinetly lucky this time. Always worry that we won't be so lucky the next time. But I put my faith in the Higher Power and trust that we will be taken care of. Thanks to all for remembering my Mom too,,,hoping all will go well with surgery.
I played around a little with Photoshop today and made the picture above.

Much Love to all my Blogger Buds!!!! Hope you had a great week-end and a wonderful week ahead.

It's good to have a little R & R from time to time....and you sure deserve it after all you've been through this past week. I hope your mom is doing ok now that she's home. I'm keeping you both in my thoughts.

I like your Photoshop art!

You deserved an R&R weekend. You take care! Glad things are going OK on your mom -- a card is on the way to her. I like the image you put here -- it's lovely!

Glad you rested up! And I'm double glad that you and yours got thru the storms. I bet you had a ton more branches to pick up!

Your Photoshop pic is great - looks like a fun program.

Give my best to your Mom.
